Banging Around

My sister told me a story of a hospital that had some crazy natural disaster and something like 80% of the adults in it perished but 100% of the babies survived becuase they are resilient, durable and built to withstand the rough world around them. This story was retold me to this week as we've had a few tumbles the past week or so. I'm recounting this later but if memory serves me on Monday we had a mother's helper who had taken the cover off his bouncy chair to put in the laundry & I believe I was the one who put it back on...or maybe vice versa - either way he was happily sitting it in that afternoon and then minutes later I hear a thud & cry only to find the top part had fallen through with his noggin on the ground :/

We also had our first round of shot at the pediatrician.

Later in the week his Nana (my mother in law) came for a visit and upon walking in the door I was holding him & giving her a hug only to neglect my little guy's head over my shoulder, bumping it right into the entryway closet. This of course is the entry closet we could not imagine keeping and were going to turn into a breakfast nook - but plans & priorities have certainly changed in the past year!
