Back to the Good Life
Things, as always, have been incredibly busy but I have to take a moment to recognize how good the past few month have been from an age stand point. Now nearly 18 months old I think we really starting seeing an upswing a few months ago. Looking back maybe it was just the warmer weather, but I more so think it was his ability to walk and talk ( to some degree) that have granted him a new found freedom and lease on life.
He still has his moments of blood curdling screams and I think has had some digression in both calling everything he needs and wants Mama but overall, the uncontrollable giggles are deeper and more frequent so between that and his good health - what more could I really want. He's somehow still on two naps and sleeping to a civilized hour 9 out of 10 nights so it's hard to complain. I will note we still find he can be a picky eater who who can on occasion only decide he will eat if he's always playing with the light switch or keurig machine but of course there's also days like yesterday when he seems like a bottomless pit for anything that was at the brunch including smoked salmon & our leftover gazpacho.
