Adding a few more firsts to the list

This could probably be the Title of most days posts but yesterday we took our first subway ride together! I wrapped him up in the K'taan, which was a success, as I had to go into Manhattan to talk with my boss about coming back to work. I haven't been a big "babywear-er" yet becuase I had some misconceived notion they had to be older and then the other week my back started hurting (before I used them) so . It was easier, more normal and positive than I had thought to be back in the office but then again I knew I was just there for the day. Their official policy is 8 weeks unpaid but since it's a small/medium sized company there's some flexibility for conversation. Nothing definitive came out of the conversation except four month or three days/week seem out of the cards. He's now considering three months, April 20th which still seems close but potentially doable for each of us. Jack was again a dream baby to sleep the whole time while hanging out with his Aunt Tory so that my boss and I could get lunch & talk.
