Almost a Year

Until recently, I couldn't stop talking about what a great age Jack is. I think this started around 7 or 8 months and really continued until around 11. Maybe it's just me, the holidays, him turning one but our universe has shifted. Thinking back, it may have started with this rash. We thought it was eczema and recently was told it was Ptioriasis (sp?) More recently, he's becoming very particular about what he wants. One might call it selfish or unreasonable but I'll just say it's been a bit of a minefield to navigate. Our nanny kindly said he knows what he wants.
Christmas was great. We got to spend it in the house I grew up in before my parents sell it and while I'm suspectful people giving him everything might've contributed to it, we had a really nice time. I still worry about every bump or rash which I thought I'd be past by now but there's still hope for the year marker!
He's still on a great two nap schedule and his Baptism went off without a hitch so I have many things to be grateful for but the surprises keep on coming.
